Creative coding: make generative art with R
Details
Location: Room 37 Level B of Building 7, University of Canberra.
R is a programming language used widely for data analysis, but in this workshop, we will explore ways to make art! Building on the popular ggplot2 package, Dr. Emi Tanaka (ANU) will demonstrate how to draw Truchet tiles and other generative art where time permits. All codes demonstrated will be shared with the participants. Come join the workshop to meet fellow Rtists, potentially learn more about the ggplot2 system and showcase your inner creativity!
Please note that the registrants are expected to be proficient in R and some knowledge of tidyverse or ggplot2 as we do not have time to cover the basics in this workshop. Participants are expected also to bring their own laptops with R installed.
