Hi everyone!
We are really excited to have Jovana Maksimovic as our guest speaker for our upcoming event.
Jovana completed her PhD in computational biology at Monash University in 2011 and Jovana was a postdoctoral researcher in Bioinformatics at MCRI before joining the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in 2019. She has worked in the field of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology for over 14 years on numerous data analysis and methods development projects.
In this event, Jovana will share how she uses workflowr to create reproducible analyses that are easily shareable. workflowr is an R package that supports easily creating a “workflow”. The workflowr “workflow” is a simple sequence of steps that are repeated and integrated into an analysis to help make the project more reproducible and shareable. By using workflowr as part of her research, Jovana has been able to create projects whose results, figures, and development history are easily accessible on a static website, along with version controlled source code and other reproducibility safeguards.
We look forward to seeing you online.
