Mothers' Day E-Z Walk at Ringwood Manor State Park

Details

All of you Mothers and Surrogate Moms, come celebrate Spring with us for a fun filled, easy walk and dinner together!

We will be visiting the current art show and barn with vintage horse drawn carriages and life sized model horses. After we will take a walk around the grounds to enjoy the majestic landscaping.

Ringwood Manor, a beautiful country house, which was home for a succession of well-known ironmasters for nearly 200 years sits comfortably on a low hill overlooking a landscape that looks as if it escaped from a painting. Iron production in this area began in the 1740s.

This will be about a 2 hour slow/ moderate walk with many stops along the way. Mileage approximately. 3 miles or less.

Recommended: Water resistant Hiking boots, sun protection, bug spray, Water is MANDATORY and cameras of course! Tuck your pants into your socks as a tick deterrent as there will be a few grassy areas(can be avoided). Great photo opportunities.
