Join local sock knitter, Sock Linda for a focused, skill-building session all about sock construction! This is a skills class, not a project-based class, perfect for anyone looking to level up their sock-making confidence.
You’ll learn the five essential sections of sock knitting.
Students are welcome to bring their own sock WIPs for guided help, or simply come ready to learn! If you’d like to practice during class, we recommend bringing (or purchasing from the shop) a set of 1.5 US - 2.5 mm double-pointed needles and yarn for a simple shortie sock. Materials will be available for purchase in-store, but are not required to participate.
Whether you’ve never knit a sock or just need help turning a heel, this class is for you.
Sock Linda has you (and your feet) covered!
Details:
- One 2-hour session
- Limited to 8 students
- For confident beginners and up, you should already be comfortable knitting and purling

Optional Materials:
- Fingering, Sport, or DK weight yarn with Nylon
- 1.5 US - 2.5 mm double-pointed needles

Sunday Sit & Stitch at Royal Bee Yarn

Every Sunday from 2–4pm, bring your current knitting, crochet, or other fiber project and join us for a relaxed afternoon of making, chatting, and connecting.

All skill levels are welcome, whether you’re casting on your very first stitches or tackling a complex pattern, you’ll find encouragement, inspiration, and maybe a few new friends.

We meet at Royal Bee Yarn in Pacifica, surrounded by cozy vibes and beautiful yarn. No formal instruction - just a casual, come-as-you-are gathering to unwind, work on your projects, and share ideas.

What to bring:
Your project, tools, and yarn (or pick up something new at the shop!).

What to expect:
Warm conversation, plenty of creative energy, and a chance to spend time with fellow makers.

If the weather is nice, the group will sit outside in the backyard. There's a cozy indoor fireplace spot as well.

Curious about knitting but not sure where to start? This friendly, hands-on class is designed just for you, no experience needed!

Over the course of four weekly sessions, you'll learn the knitting basics, from casting on to binding off, and everything in between.Students are welcome to bring their own materials (size 15 circular needles and a bulky or chunky weight yarn in a light color that won’t split), or you can purchase a beginner-friendly kit in the shop.

All class participants receive 10% off storewide for the duration of the class!

Instructor
Harry (she/her) is an avid knitter with over 8 years of experience. She is enjoys working with texturally complex patterns and colorwork projects. When she’s not knitting, you can find her hiking with her dog, playing tennis, or spending time on the bay.
