Event #5 - James River at the James City County Marina

This is Event #5 for the 2025 Season, where we check our gear, put in and paddle.

We will meet at the Charles City County Marina. There is a descent amount of parking here, and a great kayak slide, but also Rentals at the County Building. The put-in snakes around under a bridge and out to the James, right near the Original Jamestown Fort, and the three replica ships from 1607.

We will visit the 3 ships and Jamestown Fort itself. Lots of wildlife, a cool whirlpool under a bridge, and tons of American History.

Colonial Williamsburg is just a few miles away, having many other historical activities and Great food!
