Join AgriTech Meetup SA for a special session in coordination with Future Energy Week, bringing together organisations moving the dial on the energy transition in the agrifood sector.
The event focuses on the innovations and systems that will enable the electrification of freight transport, and the opportunities and challenges that will flow on from it.
Shayla from the SA Forestry Products Association will share their work on electrifying trucking, and working with the forestry industry supply chain to turn waste streams such as saw dust into sources of energy.
Shane from Climate Capital will present on the avenues that the energy transition creates for landowners to diversity their income and reduce their overheads, and the recent changes in govt policy that helps to fuel these opportunities.
Dean from VE Motion will share the benefits of electrifying trailers, and Jaden from Archer Heavy will be talking through their work retro-fitting trucks to run on battery power.
This event brings together farmers, agronomists, investors and innovators who are thinking seriously about energy resilience, self-sufficiency, and the future of farming.
