Meet the Instructor: Jerry Hamm
Jerry Hamm is a renowned student of the guitar and a local guitarist with decades of experience across nearly every style of guitar playing.

Highlights from Jerry’s background:

• Began his St. Louis career in the 1970s with Adrastus, showcasing early mastery of tone, precision, and musicianship
• Currently performs with Vynal Tap, The Z Band, and Jim and Jerry Gone Country
• Studied jazz theory and construction with Bobby Caldwell (RIP)
• Trained extensively in classical guitar, building technique and discipline beyond performance needs
• Chosen by Ken Hensley (Uriah Heep) as his St. Louis guitarist for recording and live performances
• Widely respected and admired by top musicians throughout the region
