Open Dialogue // Ecology of Communication

Details
How is a forest a conversation? In living systems, communication isn’t just about signals or messages—it’s about how life learns together. In a forest, roots discover where nutrients are and how to share them. Soil microbes adjust their chemistry in response to one another. Bodies, families, forests, and ecosystems all become through patterns of mutual influence and learning.
In this conversation, we’ll explore communication as something more than language: as the constant, reciprocal shaping that takes place in all entangled life. We’ll ask: How do systems learn as wholes, not just as parts? What kinds of knowing emerge only through participation in relationship? And what becomes possible when we attune to life as a process of learning-in-context?
This conversation will be free-form, which means it might meander into adjacent topics. No need to prepare or bring anything but your curiosity and an open mind.
