Exeter,Saturday 22nd Nov - A meditation and study day on the Six Perfections: giving, morality, patience, diligence. meditation and wisdom
This day is open to anyone interested in deepening their understanding of Buddhism, and will be especially beneficial for anyone who is looking to get an initial overall understanding of what the Mahayana (great vehicle) path means in practice.
The day will include periods of meditation and reflection (with time for questions) interspersed amongst exploration of the perfections.
Sessions:
Each session, led by one of Lama Jampa Thaye's students and based on his book 'Rain of Clarity' (see illustr above), will involve: sitting meditation, listening to the teaching, and time for reflection and questions.
- Please arrive by 10.15am for a 10.30am start
- Four sessions: 10.30-11.30, 12.00-13.00, 2.00-3.00, 3.30-4.30
- Please bring some lunch (to share if you wish)
- Facility Fee: £15 per day or £5 per session
