🚶♀️🚶♂️Join us for a low-impact way to stay active and connect with like-minded individuals. Every week, we explore different locations around Metro Detroit while getting fit and having fun. Whether you prefer to walk, jog, run, or ride a bike, move at your own pace or join others. Enjoy the scenery and make new friends or bring a buddy. 🚶♀️💪🚶♂️
🌟 Here's the plan:
1️⃣ Meet at 9:45 AM
2️⃣ Start walking at 10:00 AM
3️⃣ Enjoy a refreshing walk for approximately an hour
4️⃣ Go your own distance and at your own pace. An easy rule is to start heading back after 30 minutes.
5️⃣ Reunite at a nearby café or eatery after 11:00 AM for food, drinks, and great conversations. 🥪🍹🗣️Dress comfortably for the walk. Wear supportive walking shoes and dress in layers to accommodate the weather conditions.
THIS WEEK'S LOCATION (where to meet):
Dequindre Cut Greenway - 🌳🏞️ Meet us at the free surface parking lot at the corner of Wilkins and Orleans, at 9:45 AM. We start walking at 10:00 AM.The trail can be about four miles out and back for those who want to go fast, as we'll be taking the Detroit River Walk loop that leads west from the end of the Dequindre Cut Greenway. Afterwards, join us at the Eastern Market or another a nearby eatery after 11:00 AM for food and conversation.

Join us at Logan’s in Roseville for another lively Detroit Atheist Meetup! Arrive early (starting at 6:00 PM) for food, drinks, and casual conversation. The meeting begins around 7:00 PM—but feel free to show up whenever you can. Latecomers are always welcome!

Linden Park and Quarton Lake Loop - Meet us in the free surface parking lot at N. Bates St. (off Willits), in downtown Birmingham, at 9:45 AM. We start walking at 10:00 AM.The path alternates between wood-chip trails and sidewalks, featuring a steep ascent up log steps in the middle. Please note that this trail is not suitable for biking. The trail is approximately 3.5 miles for fast walkers, an out-and-back journey as we'll be taking the Quarton Lake Loop that starts at the western end of the Linden Park path. Afterwards, join us at Sidecar Slider Bar after 11:00 AM for food and conversation.

There are several paths to choose from, so we'll mixing things up for this walk to do about 3 miles. Afterwards, join us at Shamrock Pub after 11:00 AM for food and conversation.This event is FREE to attend.
