This is a group for families with children ages 0-5 who live in the boundaries of the San Bernardino City Unified School District
• FREE weekly workshops and sessions designed to recharge your life and help you to become your child's best teacher, including crafts, community presentations, child development resources, and more! Many sessions are parent-chosen so we ensure that our content is engaging and fun.
• Story Time
• Book giveaways to help you to read to your child
• FREE annual licenses for Age of Learning (for children ages 2-5)
• FREE research-based parenting classes (Science of Parenting) for families with children ages 0-5. They are attachment-based and include information on positive child guidance, the importance of reading, singing, and engaging in play with your child, and how young children's brains develop.

Located at the Home of Neighborly Service - 839 N Mt Vernon Ave San Bernardino CA 92411The KITS parenting course assists parents and caregivers of young children (0-5 years old) in creating a nurturing, supportive, and language-rich environment in order to promote healthy development and school readiness. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of child behavior and development and learn:
-why the early years are so critical to development
-why parenting style matters
-the importance of a secure parent-child attachment
-AND effective positive child guidance skills.CLASSES INCLUDE:
-Free child care
-A parenting manual
-A children's book to take home each week
-A light meal
-Graduates receive a certificate of completion
