Sunset Hike : Torrey Pines

Come Join Us For A Sunset Hike At Torrey Pines!
This will be a 2.3-mile loop trail near Del Mar, California. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.

Agenda:
🌅4:45- 5PM PST - Guests start arriving; meet at the tables.
🌅5PM PST - We will start hiking up Torrey Pines (roadside).
🌅5:45-5:50PM PST - We will begin our descent down Torrey Pines towards the ocean. Please Note: This is dependent on the tides that day.

🌅6:21PM PST (Sunset). The sun is predicted to set close to 6:21PM. We should be done with the hike with time to spare.

When: Friday October 17
Time: 5PM | Check-in: 445PM
Where: Torrey Pines Reserve
Gates close at 730PM. Please meet us by the tables by the bathrooms.

What: Bring good hiking shoes, backpack with a minimum of 1 liter of water (water bladder is handy), sunscreen, hat.

Hikers can hike this loop in either direction. We will be hiking clockwise; this takes you along the interior up the road first, and then along the water. There are a few short but steep climbs along the way. The trails are well-marked and easy to follow. Sadly, you will need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail.

Note: We will exercise caution and take necessary steps to protect ourselves and others on the trail.
