Trail Maintenance - Trans County Trail

The Transcounty Trail is in need of trimming. There are multiple sections that need help both east and west of the 15 to keep our heads and limbs safe as well as keeping sight lines open for everyone's safety.

SDMBA will be partnering with the Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve Ranger Melanie Fontana. Help us keep the sightline safe for all users and remind the world how cool mountain bikers are.

We will be meeting the team at the Cara Way Trailhead and hiking to the work site, spreading out along the way. This is an easy and fun way to get some trail work experience for our newer riders. Come earn your trails the right way! Much of the trail is in the shade but come prepared for warm tempretures. Feeling up to the challenge?

Cell Phone - you can complete a digital waiver on site using your smartphone. We will have a QR code available.
WATER/snacks
Sturdy shoes
Long pants, long sleeves
Work Gloves
Eye protection
Sunscreen+ hat
Anything else you need for a safe and comfortable day.
