October 'Beginner-Focused' Group Ride with the SD Trek Women's MTB Team

It's Spooky season!!! That means one thing! The SD Trek Halloween Ride!!! Join us Saturday, October 25th, as we take our best costumes for a tour of Penasquitos canyon!!

Costumes are not required, but highly encouraged for this ride, as there will be a costume contest, WITH PRIZES, sponsored by Trek!

Ride Info:
We will have 2 PQ classic routes planned! All riders welcome - no one left behind. Make sure to bring everything you need for a 2 hour ride!

Beginners will cruise on a 8-10 mile mellow route complete with some uphill and downhill to practice your skills. The intermediate group will ride 10-12 miles of the PQ plateau.

To help reduce trail impacts and promote safety and instruction, we are limiting ride numbers to 30 participants.

(As a reminder, this is a ‘beginner-focused’ ride, meaning we will no longer have our advanced ride option. Rides will now include a beginner and intermediate option only. We’d still love to see those smiling ‘advanced rider’ faces, but be prepared to ride slower/shorter/less technical routes)

The ride starts PROMPTLY at 8:30am. Please arrive early to allow time for bike set up, signing the waiver, chatting w/ your buddies, etc! This ride will last approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.

What to bring:
- Mountain Bike in good working order
- Every rider MUST have a helmet
- Water bottle/snacks
- Anything else you need for a safe and comfortable ride
- An awesome attitude!
