EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Through this event we will provide all who attend with a dedicated, indoor/studio, professional photography session (up to 15 minutes in length) and a resulting portrait/headshot at no cost.
* PLEASE NOTE
- SCHEDULE SESSION: To ensure that you receive important session preparation tips and recommendations and to reserve your dedicated session, please call in advance in order to schedule your own personal session appointment time. Call Steven Mills (event organizer and host) at office # (619) 581-9522
- WALK-INS: If any event attendees “walk-in” (11AM-2PM) without an appointment, you will not be turned away. However, attendees with scheduled session appointments will take all priority. So walking-in without a scheduled photo session time could result in a long wait time of potentially several hours or more. To avoid this, please call and schedule your photo session time slot in advance.
STEPS FOR ATTENDING THIS EVENT:
- Register/RSVP to “Attend” this event.
- Call and schedule your personal photography session time. To do this, call Steven Mills (event organizer and host) at office # (619) 581-9522. If for any reason we do not answer, please leave a detailed message with your full name and phone number and that you are calling regarding this event and we will call you back within 24 hours.
- Show up at least 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled photo shoot session time on 1/17/26. (This will allow you time to touch up hair and clothing and settle in prior to you photo session and will help to ensure that you'll be on time and all ready to go at the very beginning of your session starting time.

Q: Is there a FEE for this even?
A: As the San Diego Success Club tries to offer the majority of our events as a free service to our Members, there is no fee for attending this event.
Q: Ideally who is this event intended for?
A: This portrait/headshot event will be ideal for entrepreneurs, executives, business owners, actors, musicians, social media content creators and anyone else who would like, or could use, a professional Portrait or Headshot. Ideal use cases could include but are not limited to: web sites, flyers, brochures and business cards or social media uses such as Linked-In, Facebook, Instagram and others.
Q: What PARKING options will there be for this even?
A: As we are in a shopping center, we are expecting there to be abundant, free, off-street parking available immediately in front of, or within a very close proximity to this event location (Wellness Center).
Q: Who is the PHOTOGRAPHER?
A: The photographer hosting this event, capturing, editing and delivering the resulting images is the founder of the San Diego Success Club, Dr. Steven Mills, D.C. and his Photo and Film production company is "Brick Arch Films". Q: What options will there be for the photo studio portrait backgrounds?
A: As a minimum we will have available standard white, light-grey and black backgrounds. And based on availability, we may also be able to make blue/aquamarine and/or a few other options available as well for your portrait or headshot session background.
Q: What is the difference between a portrait and a headshot?
A: All headshots are portraits, however, not all portraits are headshots, so the portrait has a much wider definition. A headshot is a specific type of portrait that is typically closely cropped to the head and shoulders and is most commonly used in some professional capacity.
Q: Where will I be able to change or prepare for my portrait session?
A: We do have a private restroom within our wellness center for changing outfits. We will also make available in the open, reception area a mirror for last minute touch-ups to hair, make-up or wardrobe.
Q: Will there be makeup or hair stylists available at this session to assist with preparations?
A: No there will not be any professionals present for assisting. You will be responsible for your own hair, makeup, wardrobe and other such considerations. You may, however, if you choose, bring a friend along with you to help you with these details and preparations or a professional assistant of your own.
Q: How long will it take for you to receive your photo?
A: There will be an initial period after the photo event when we will be sending to the attendees a sample gallery of the best images from the photo shoot for them to choose from for editing. We will begin editing the images in the order that attendees respond with their selection (preferred pose/photo). Please allow up to 2 weeks from the time that we receive back from you your chosen/preferred/selected photo that you would like to have edited for us to deliver your finished, edited image.
Q: What EQUIPMENT does the photographer/Brick Arch Films use?
A: Steven uses Canon and Panasonic digital cameras, Canon, Panasonic and Sigma Camera Lenses, DJI Mavic 2 Pro Drone, Falcon Eyes and Godox Lights, Kupo C-Stands, Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop photography editing and Apple Final Cut Pro video editing softwares.
Q: Can I bring and wear (or change into) more than one outfit during my session in order to achieve different looks?
A: Yes, you can bring and wear more than one outfit to this photo shoot. However, please keep in mind that in order to accommodate members, we will be trying to keep sessions to 15 minutes in length so clothing changes should be quick and efficient. Additionally, keep in mind that changing clothing can also adversely, and significantly so in some instances, affect hair and/or makeup. Ultimately this choice is yours and we will ty to help/facilitate in any way that we can.
Q: Can we take an outdoor portrait at this event?
A: This event will be performing indoor, studio-style portraits and head-shots only. We would be happy to schedule a separate outdoor or on-location portrait session event in the future.
