Black Mountain - Manzanita Loop

4.8 miles, 500ft ascent. No hazards.

Description:
We won't go to the antennae on this hike. We will climb Nighthawk trail then head east on the Little Black Loop to the Manzanita Loop and return by way of the Nighthawk trail again.

Directions from San Diego:
Take I-15 north and exit West on Rancho Peñasquitos Blvd which becomes Carmel Mtn Rd. Turn right on Black Mtn Rd and right on Oviedo Street. Turn right again on OVIEDO WAY and go to the end of the street then enter the park on the right. (There are signs to Hilltop Community Park, but they are rather small.)
