10+ Mile Exploring Hike: ATX Riverfront, Architecture, Urban Planning & Design
Details
The Austin’s riverfront Ann & Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail traversing through some of the most scenic and vibrant areas of the Texas Capital.
On this 10+ mile exploring hike, the points of interest I want to explore, include Festival Beach Food Forest & Community Garden, Waterline Austin Tower, the tallest building in Texas, Four Seasons Hotel, Austin Rowing Club, the Sailboat Building, Uchibā Austin, Hestia, Austin Central Library, Zilker Botanical Garden, Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge, Hyatt Regency, YETI, the Boardwalk at Lady Bird Lake, etc. I expect to see various water birds and wildlife along the route, and get a great workout in scenic outdoor environments. Previously, I have visited various sections of the trail, but not the entire 10+ mile loop.
This will be my first time organizing an exploring hike in Austin. I normally post my exploring trips in California, mainly in Santa Barbara, Ojai, Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo, under Santa Barbara Adventure People.
