Strauss Wind Energy Park is located on almost 6000 acres of mostly cattle cohabitating pasture land, and consists of 27 wind turbines, up to 492 tall. The site is scenic, with cattle ranches, and vistas of structurally beautiful and towering wind turbines, near and far on spring green rolling hills and pasture land.

I am fascinated by the structural design, construction, wind turbine and generator efficiency, manufacturing of various components, transportation logistics of super long 220’ blades, etc.

It would be great to do a strenuous walking workout while checking out this marvelous wind energy project. The walk & explore would be done from publicly accessible roadways, mainly San Miguelito Rd.
