Hike @ Chief Whitecap Park + Lunch @ Berry Barn

This is our annual November classic! A local hike that offers a bit of everything: forest, flats, and a few ups and downs along the river. After the hike we'll go to warm up and have brunch at the Berry Barn. I'm aiming to do around 12-15kms.

If there's no snow on the ground we will call it a hike (if it's icy, "yaktraks" are awesome and a great investment for this time of the year). If there's lots of snow, we'll be on snowshoes. I will provide more details as date approaches.

As always, dress appropriately, prepared for cold and wind. Also, bring a hot drink and a snack to take along the way.

We'll meet at Diefenbaker Park parking lot (see pin on map) @ 9:15am. If you need a ride, leave a comment on the event webpage, so that someone can hopefully give you one.

Note: if you sign up, you're signing up for the hike and the brunch. If someone only wishes to do one or the other I will give preference to those wishing to do both.
