About us
The Chiltern Hills offer beautiful vistas, valleys, woodlands, villages and other delights. As a result, these walks are always scenic and often idyllic. The walks replenish, inspire and nurture wellbeing. Currently, the walks are mostly in the North of the Chilterns. I'm James, and I've been leading walks since I was a child, so you're in good hands.
I'm also the author of Kissing Consciousness, a personal wellbeing book, so if you'd like to ask me about that you're more than welcome, and I may throw in a related event from time to time.

Pub Quiz at The Highwayman, Berkhamsted
The Highwayman, 262 High Street, Berkhamsted, GBThis is a good fun pub quiz at the Highwayman in Berkhamsted. It's £3.00 per person cash - coins please, as the bar doesn't have change. We have two tables of ten places in total reserved for us. We'll make two teams.
Please only sign up if you're committed to coming. If something unexpected happens and you can't make it, that's fine, but it's not the kind of event that works if people sign up and then drop out casually.
This is the first of two quizzes we'll do at the Highwayman; the second is on Tuesday 31st March.
The quiz starts at 7:30 and our tables are booked from 7:15 so if you arrive any time between 7:15 and 7:30 that will be perfect.
The quiz has forty questions of general knowledge of all types plus a jackpot round with a big cash prize. There's also a 'first hand in the air' half-time question, with the first correct answer getting a free drink at the bar.
