Thursday Evening Walk: Sarratt to the Chess Valley

This is a beautiful, twisting and turning walk of about 4 miles from the Boot pub in the pretty village of Sarratt, between Chipperfield and Chorleywood. Our route takes us to the Chess Valley and the River Chess, with some spectacular views over the hills. Walking time approx 1.5 to 2 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

After the walk there is the option of staying for a drink, refreshments and a chat in The Boot pub in Sarratt.

Free Parking
The Boot pub are happy for us to park there. Parking is also available opposite the pub on the green, which is equally convenient. Please use this space on the green, too, so we leave some spaces in their car park for others.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals. These events are not for children.
