Scheldeland Hiking Meetup

Welcome to Scheldeland Hiking!
Now one of the new national parks ( National Park Scheldeland ) in Flanders :-).
This is our hometown but we hike allso outside of Scheldeland region!

Social hiking is an exciting way to meet new people, explore the great outdoors, and get some exercise. If you're looking for an opportunity to hike with others who share your love of the great outdoors, then our meetup group is perfect for you.
Our social hiking group welcomes hikers of all levels and ages. Whether you're an experienced hiker or just starting out, you'll find plenty of like-minded individuals to connect with on our hikes. We believe in the power of socializing and bonding with others through hiking, which is why we make sure that all of our hikes are inclusive and engaging for everyone.

Our hikes take place in some of the most beautiful areas in Belgium, from lush forests to picturesque 'mountains' ( hills ) , offering stunning views and endless photo opportunities. We have a variety of hikes that cater to different interests and fitness levels, ranging from leisurely walks to challenging treks.

During our hikes, we encourage our members to engage with each other and make new friends. This is a great opportunity to share your passion for hiking, learn from others, and enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded individuals. We often stop for a picnic lunch or snack break along the way, giving everyone a chance to rest, refuel and get to know each other better.

So, whether you're looking to meet new people, get some fresh air, or just explore the great outdoors, our social hiking group is the perfect way to do it. Join us for an adventure you won't forget!

You have also to make sure that you are covered by an insurance policy that covers hiking before taking part to an activity, and you also know the risks inherent to hiking. The Scheldeland Hiking Group is also a platform to allow interested people to propose their own activities, on their personal initiative. The Scheldeland Hiking Group acts only in that case as an intermediary and its organisers could not be held responsible in case of accident.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
If you RVSP two meetups without letting anything know ( either by message or on the meetup page ) you will be removed from this group. This is to leave more open spots for other members and it makes sure we don't have to wait to long when starting a hike.
