Join me and Roxy Hart on a wonderful fall hike up Five Oaks Trail in the Volcan Mountain Wilderness Preserve. This is a beautiful, moderate hike with oak, woodlands and a pretty peak. I love being out there in the fall time, and this year I'm feeling all the seasonal feels.

The mileage is a bit over three miles with an elevation gain of about 850 feet. Bring plenty of water and do know your dog's limits. The hike usually only takes a couple hours but will no doubt go a bit longer with the doggos. We will move at a moderate pace with multiple stops. All of Carmen's rules for the group apply.

An optional stop after at the Julian Beer Company, an establishment that allows leashed, well-behaved dogs in their outdoor seating area. I haven't been there but I'd like to try it out. Please join us!
