Easy 4 mi out & back - Poway Bridle Trails with our pups

Join me & my dogs along the nice shady Valle Verde Bridle Trails in Poway. This will be an out and back hike along a dirt trail, passing horses goats and backyard dogs. This is a moderate 4+ mile walk starting at Valle Verde Park where there is a restroom at the start. We will cross Espola going south then pickup the bridle trail and head on our way. I will try to keep us on a flat trail but we may have some incline along the way. The dogs love this route as they are curious of the horses & goats. A great hike for our dogs and a good cardio workout for pet parents. Call or text 858-735-4527 if lost or late. There's a restroom at the park at the start of the hike.
You're welcome to bring small treats for the horses & goats (treats should be cut up as the horses are old and their teeth are not as strong as they once were). Pack wipes to clean your hands after feeding the animals. Tuesday is trash day! We will have plenty of trash cans along the way to dispose dog waste.

DOG SAFETY: Please allow dogs their space. Use a maximum 6' long non-retractable leash.

MEET: Rendezvous at the parking lot at Valle Verde Park.

BRING: Water for your dog, food and water for yourself, sun protection, and your other safety essentials. Trek poles are optional.
