Multilingual & Intersectional Book Club: A Bookshop in Algiers

Book club is back with a new event! This book club is intended to highlight international, intersectional and overlooked writers and voices.

We will be discussing “A Bookshop in Algiers” (it can also be found under the title “Our Riches” or “Nos Richesses”) by the French-Algerian author Kaouther Adimi, translated into English by Chris Andrews. You can read the book in any language you like! There might also be multiple versions, feel free to pick whichever version of the book is most accessible to you. Afterwards we’ll head to dinner for some North African or French food nearby 😋
