SecTalks Adelaide May 2025

SecTalks is once again partnering with Flinders University to present this month's meetup at the Flinders University Festival Plaza campus.

This month, we’re diving into a Hands-On Hacking session.

💻 What to bring
To get the most out of the session, bring your laptop with virtualisation software like VirtualBox or VMware pre-installed.

Our target for the evening is the following: Matrix-Breakout: 2 Morpheus ~ VulnHub
To get the most out of the event, please deploy the above virtual machine (via the ".ova" file) ahead of time.

Not wanting to participate? No worries! Come along anyway for a great networking opportunity.

📍 Flinders Festival Plaza campus (Level 1, Welcome Hub)

⏰ Start Time
Networking from 5:30 PM, welcome and kick off at 6:00 PM.

🍻 There will be optional networking drinks happening at Strathmore Hotel at the conclusion of the talk if you would like to join in.

😷 If you can no longer attend the event, it would be appreciated if you could release your ticket so we can plan accordingly.

Please bring along a laptop if you are keen to participate. You will also need virtualisation software such as VMWare Workstation or VirtualBox, with a Linux distro such as Kali or Parrot.
