SecTalks Hobart - Sep 2025 - BYO Project Night!

Been sitting on that project idea and waiting for a timely kick up the rear to get it moving? Well do we have an event for you!

September at SecTalks Hobart is our first B.Y.O. Project Night! We are lucky to have a very clever and collaborative community who build some very cool things in their own time - and we want you to bring in one of your projects-in-progress and get stuck in while hanging out with your SecTalks pals!

This is also the perfect time to bring in any ideas you've had for a lab you want to build, a uni thesis you've had lurking in the back of your brain... share your inspiration with the crew and let's see if we can help you set some steps to bring it to fruition!

Don't stress if you don't have anything top of mind to make or build: we have a few project and challenge ideas you are very welcome to borrow from for the evening, and some of our members have offered to share what they are working on to help you get involved with something awesome and new.

Please be sure to bring a device you're happy to work on, plus any tools you need, internet hotspots etc. I'll try and actually remember to bring the speaker this month so we have some tunes.
