Come along to a very special edition of Service Design Bristol!

For this event, the brilliant Helen Liang will introduce us to the creative and fun world of LEGO® Serious Play®, through a series of structured workshop activities.

LEGO® Serious Play® (LSP) is a facilitated methodology that uses LEGO® bricks to help adults and teams explore complex challenges, solve problems, and stimulate innovation by building three-dimensional models of their ideas - a brilliant addition to every designers toolkit.

Please note that this event is not free to attend - we ask that anyone signing up to attend pay a non-refundable £3.55 to cover the cost of an Lego® Exploration Bag (which you can take home at the end of the session), plus the booking and payment fees. We are also having to limit the number of attendees to 40, due to the nature of the workshop.

We'll have pizza and drinks, and plenty of time to get to know other members.

Anyone interested in service design and human centred design is welcome whether you're an experienced or aspiring service designer, or just curious about what it's all about.

Format

18:30 - arrive and grab a drink & some food, have a chat
19:00 - Workshop starts (with a break halfway)
21:00 - Workshop finishes (head to the pub!)

About the workshop
An interactive workshop introducing LEGO® Serious Play® methods for service designers who want to tap into intrinsic motivation and bring playfulness to serious challenges.

In this session, we’ll be using bricks to build physical models that represent our thoughts and ideas—thinking with our hands, listening with our eyes, and sparking insightful conversation. And, you get to leave with your own LEGO® Window Exploration mini bag!
