Still Life and Flat Lay

We will set up several spots to do Still Life photos and Flat Lays. Bring your tripod.

There will be different items to choose from but if you have anything interesting to bring from home that would be perfect. Flowers and vases especially.

Flat Lay is just what it sounds like. Items are placed on a background on the floor and shot from straight above. Using items that have a relationship to one another is the key. If you have a hobby that has several items please bring them. For example ... knitting, fly fishing, painting, cooking etc...

Remember the lighting in the church is not the best. The idea is to work out how to make a good composition for your photo.
