THE SAN FRANCISCO PHOTO COLLECTIVE (SFPC) is a California Camera Club (CCC), where all levels of photographers are welcome: beginner to master. This bay area photo alliance is an inclusive and diverse network of photographers - a supportive and creative community of mentors and mentees - dedicated to discovering, promoting, and encouraging thought-provoking imagery, through photo walks, workshops, photo festivals, fairs, seminars, symposiums, conferences and summits, photojournalism events, art gallery/museum visits, photo critiques, lectures, gear sales, and contests. SFPC was founded by Casey C. The California Camera Club (CCC) was founded in 1890.

Legacy Association History:
The California Camera Club (CCC) was founded in San Francisco, California, in 1890. Members included both men and women, as well as both professional and amateur photographers and they sponsored social events, photography exhibitions, and learning opportunities. Beginning in 1900, the Club published the magazine "Camera Craft."

SFPC-CCC EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR / LEAD ORGANIZER BIO
Nate Love is the executive director and lead organizer of SFPC - CCC. He is a professional event photographer and professional event manager. He is also a photo educator and author and has taught dozens of photography workshops on various topics. His photos have been exhibited in numerous art galleries throughout the country. Nate Love is a member of Artspan, SFMOMA, East Bay Photo Collective, APA, SFFILM, Harvey Milk Photo Center, IATSE, ASC, San Francisco Camerawork, Bay Area Photo Alliance, First Exposures, Youth Art Exchange, Coffee & Cameras Club, Instant Film Society, SFIPW & Pro Bono Photo. He studied philosophy, photography, and cinema at various colleges and universities including the City University of New York, UC Berkeley and Stanford University. He is the author of the book "Advanced Photo Critique Manual."
