Full description:
The walk begins in Bakewell, following the first of two rivers as it winds toward the historic Haddon Hall. From there, the route continues to the charming hamlet of Alport, then traces the scenic Lathkill Dale to the village of Over Haddon, before looping back to Bakewell where you can purchase a Bakewell pudding if you wish.

Public transport or car sharing options: 218 bus leaves Sheffield interchange at 9:40 and arrives in Bakewell at 10:30. Park in the main car park in Bakewell by the bridge or park for free if your in the know.

Be prepared:

Sign-up for this walk opens 5 days before the event. If you sign up and can no longer make it, please be respectful of others and remove yourself from the event so that others can take your place. We request you do this ***NO LATER THAN 6pm*** the night before the walk.
