This 10.5km circular trail is one of Wales’s most beautiful lowland walks — with four spectacular waterfalls, peaceful woodland paths, dramatic gorge views, and even the chance to walk right behind a roaring curtain of water.

We’ll start at Porth Yr Ogof, home to the largest cave entrance in Wales, before following the river across ancient bridges, down scenic stone steps, and into the heart of the famous Four Falls Trail. The grand finale? Standing behind Sgwd Yr Eira — the legendary “fall of snow” — as the water thunders past.

It’s a route packed with wow moments, perfect for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone who’s always wanted to say they’ve literally walked behind a waterfall.
