Shut Up & Write!® in Angel, Islington, London

WELCOME
This is a supportive, growing community for writers. I organise and gently hold the space — and it’s been beautiful watching this become a regular place to focus and connect.

WHAT TO EXPECT
This is a focused co-working meet-up for writing.
All levels welcome. No critiques. No pressure. No one reads your work. Just turn up, order and pay for your food/drink at the counter, then find a place to settle in to your writing persona.

TIME & DATE
Focused writing time 7pm-8:30pm every Thursday. This venue closes at 10pm

VENUE
I’m holding this space at the warm, beautiful and intimate British Patagonia cafe. Located opposite the Islington Town Hall on Upper Street.

TRANSPORT
The venue is located in between Angel Tube Station, and Highbury & Islington overground & underground station. Closest bus stop for buses: 4, 19, 30, 43.
There’s free street parking after 6:30pm (check signs).

I create from lived experience — rooted in care, healing, and meaningful connection. I hope to meet you all in due time, if I don’t get a chance to talk with you, know you are warmly welcome by all.
