Join us for an hour of writing! We discovered it's strikingly helpful to write with others. See if it's true at 12:30 pm Sunday.
Whether it's a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem, or just plain work, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.
IF YOU SIGN UP, BUT CANNOT MAKE IT: please change your RSVP to "Not Going"! We have limited space in the Meeting Room, and we'd like to ensure there's room for everyone at the table.
SCHEDULE:
12:20 - Chat and Quick introductions
12:30 - Timer starts: write for 1 hour
1:30 - The End: chat, take off, or keep writing
OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 1:30 pm. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is valuable.
BEING LATE IS OKAY: show up and get settled, then check in with me after the session. (I'll be the person with the Shut Up & Write! sign.) If you arrived on time, please make room for the friendly latecomer.

What Should I Bring?
Whatever you need to be able to write!
Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to listen to your own music.
There are outlets available for charging. We can sit at the main table. There are additional tables outside of the meeting room if you need more space.

Butter Notes Cafe has WiFi (password not required)
TRAVEL / PARKING: There is plenty of parking. They have a lot that has several spaces.
SEATING INFORMATION: We'll meet in the Meeting Room at the back of the Cafe. Please sit where comfortable. We can speak briefly and work at our own tables, but I am happy to sit with you.
GUIDELINES: They serve hot and cold drinks, along with a unique menu of handmade pastries and desserts. Please thank our hosts by making a purchase.
