Fall is upon us along with a volunteer service day at the Santa Clara River Preserve. The preserve is owned by The Nature Conservancy and contains a couple miles flat trails, vast areas of native plant and animal restoration, and a place to experience the river itself.

We'll prepare for winter by removing weeds and trimming plants along the trails. No experience necessary, you will learn the native and non-native species quickly. Work time from 10am-noon.

BONUS: 8am-10am Bird walk with experts from Western Foundation Vertebrate Zoology (the bird museum in Camarillo). Quick break after and then we will do our work.

Meet at the parking lot.
