Backpack in the Big South Fork National Recreation Area

We Meet at my house, 7291 Ridge Rd.

We will leave at 8 AM on Friday Oct. 3 and carpool to the Big South Fork. The hike starts near Burnt Mill Bridge and includes Honey Creek Loop. We hike 4 miles to our base camp on Friday and hike the Honey Creek Loop (6 miles or so) on Saturday and return to our cars on Sunday.

The Honey Creek Loop is both technical and challenging.
