Speed Walking Single Mingle Event

Our Very First Speed WALKING Event!

This event is cross-posted on Everything Frederick Singles and I've pitched it a Moco group so might see one on there as well. This is the first of a series of these events throughout the area. We're kicking it off in Frederick this time!

Time to lace up the shoe, here comes some speed walking. That’s right, we’re putting one foot in front of the other… but not faster, as we will be mingling and walking! So come one, come all! We can have as many people as we like, as long as the numbers stay balanced. That means:

For every gal, there’s a guy.
For every guy, there’s a gal.

So this event might have a wait list, but that's only because we're trying to keep the numbers consistent.

How It Works
1. You show up.
2. We line up like school kids at recess, boy next to girl.
3. We start walking, and YOU start talking.
4. Kat yells “Rotate!” every 5 minutes. Think musical chairs, but with a lil sweat!
5. Then the guys scoot back one person, and boom—you’ve got a new walking buddy.
6. Repeat until you’ve walked and talked with everyone.

After the Walk
If someone caught your eye ya let ole Kitty Kat know.
If they also agree, I'll fitbit you right together.

Of course, you can always exchange numbers on the spot whether for friendship or more!
