Eastwood to Parramatta via "The Ponds No.2" upper & Carlingford 15km Moderate!

WHY WALK?

Meeting Point: Eastwood Station (west side) outside the ticket barrier exit.
Distance: 15km
Difficulty: Moderate/Medium, steps and hills, 2 hours of bush bashing.
Walking Pace: An easy steady pace at 4.25km to 4.5km per hour.
1. Eastwood Station past a vibrant unique street shopping section to Glen Reserve.
2. We follow Terry's Creek, interesting pathways to David Hamilton Reserve.
3. Continue hugging Terry's Creek until Fred Spurway Park.
4. Mobbs Lane Reserve, then Don Stewart Park cutting across to Dandarbong Reserve.
5. Plenty of bush coming up, steep climb heading up to Carlingford.
6. After a break at shops, snack, bathroom, light lunch, head to Cox Park.
7. Let's hit the "Ponds Walk" goes for 7km mostly downhill, then Rapanea Community
8. Dundas Valley with exciting walkways, then head to Rydalmere. area and Yallamundi.
9. Perfect exit, grab fast light rail to Parramatta after 4.5 hours walking.
10. Continue past Western Sydney Uni Parramatta to reach the Parramatta River.
11. From here, relaxing walk to Parramatta Station, shopping available, grab a bite.
What to Bring: Comfortable outfit, a litre of water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, a raincoat just in case of wet weather. Bring your happy personality too!
