The Aussie Grind Chess Club - Social Chess Night

Sixty Four Squares is a beginner-friendly, kindness-first chess community in Dallas.

Every Tuesday night from 6 to 8 PM, we gather at The Aussie Grind in Plano for a mix of social chess and guided learning. It’s a relaxed, welcoming environment — perfect for total beginners and casual players alike.
This isn’t a tournament. This is a community.

Here’s how the night works:

• 6:00–6:15 PM – Arrive, warm up, say hello
• 6:16–8:00 PM – Social play for everyone

Never played before? Great — we’ll help you get started.
Already know how? Awesome — grab a seat and jump in.

• Boards and pieces are provided.
• Ages 18+ and any skill levels are welcome. Beginner and new player focused!
