What we’re about
This is a group for those of us who are older, wiser and perhaps a little slower and stiffer than the young people who turn out for many of the other meetups. The goal is to provide a variety of activities—something for everyone—so we can make new friends and find adventures together. We are inclusive and tolerant of all beliefs and backgrounds. From movies, museums and meals to concerts and hikes, we'll find ways to connect and support one another. We also hope others will step up and join us in planning and organizing events. Let's celebrate our age and experience!

Exhibit InformationThe first 5 to sign up (who are not members) will get FREE ADMISSION. I will contact those who are getting the free admission. If you are getting a free admisssion please arrive on time and find me in the entry area (I will have a Meetup sign).
All of us will meet in the lobby after we check in at 11 am. Please arrive punctually. If you are late it will be up to you to find the group on your own! Members and those purchasing tickets will need to reserve/purchase an admission. The cost is $20 for adults, $18 age 62 and up. RESERVE / PURCHASE TICKETS
Parking: You can park in one of these four parking lots within walking distance to the History Center:
- 11th and Smallman Street Lot (usually has a discounted rate for visitors to the History Center as long as there are no special events)
- Convention Center Garage
- Grant Street Transportation Center Garage
- 13th and Smallman Street Lot
Limited on-street parking surrounding the museum is also available. Please note: these lots are not owned by the Heinz History Center and the cost of parking varies based on demand and special events. Allow enough time to park and walk to the museum!
Lunch: We may opt to walk up to the strip district (about a 10 minute walk) for some lunch at about 1 pm. Depending on the number going to lunch, we will probably go to the Novo Asian Food Hall or PA Market since it is straight up Smallman St. and we can all have separate checks.

LUNCH: After touring through the Conservatory, we can opt for some lunch. Currently, the Café at Phipps is closed, so we can walk up Schenley Drive about 10 minutes to The Porch Restaurant.
PRICES: Adults $22.95; Seniors (Ages 62+) $20.95; or members free:

Phipps offers general admission for $3 with presentation of an electronic benefit transfer (EBT) card from any state with photo ID.PARKING: in front of the Conservatory on the "island" is free. Metered street parking available on either side of Schenley Drive. Please note that the nearby Panther Hollow Bridge and Charles Anderson Memorial Bridge are presently closed to vehicular traffic.
