This class is set up in a group circuit format with stretching stations for each muscle group as well as an assisted stretching station with a trained practitioner. Number of stations will vary depending on number of people. 1-2 minutes each station.
There are numerous benefits to assisted stretching, such as increasing your flexibility, strength, balance, blood & lymph circulation, Chi (life force energy) flow and range of motion. It also helps decrease pain and stiffness, and it lowers your risk of injury. Assisted stretching can improve your core strength and posture, and enhance your athletic performance while reducing your recovery time. Eccentric overload stretching helps to accelerate recovery from injuries.
