Solana Beach Saunter - Design District to San Elijo Lagoon.

Let's take a walk in North County Coastal. We'll meet at the micro-park at the intersection of Rosa and South Cedros in Solana Beach's Design District. (Pictured above.) From there we'll cross the train tracks on the pedestrian bridge at Dahlia to reach the walkway on highway 101. We'll head north towards San Elijo Lagoon or the beach for our turnaround point. Expect to walk nearly 4 miles on pavement, and either beach sand or dirt trails at the lagoon.
Optional coffee afterwards at one of several coffeehouses in the neighborhood, probably Madeleine French cafe and bakery.
