Sunday Morning Downtown Saunter
Details
The city council has abandoned paid Sunday parking for now. So, lets take a walk in our beautiful downtown. We'll meet outside Achilles Coffee near the intersection of Imperial Avenue and Park Boulevard. (See photo above.) It's Sunday so there's no traffic heading into the city, and since parking meters aren't enforced there's free parking everywhere. Plus, there are two trolley stops nearby, The 12th and Imperial Transit Center for the Blue and Orange lines, and 12th and Imperial Bayside for the Green line.
Expect to walk about 3 miles for about an hour. We'll cross the pedestrian bridge from Park to the harbor and proceed down the harborside walk until we decide to turn around, maybe at Seaport Village, the Star of India, Little Italy, wherever.
Optional coffee and chat at Achilles Coffee after. Hope to see you all there!
