Monarch Palooza at North Park Village Nature Center

The North Park Village Nature Center has lots of paths and a lovely pond to explore. And Saturday, Aug 23, is a Monarch butterfly festival!

We will meet at the Peterson Park Gymnastics Center, at the outdoor benches on the east side and then walk to the Nature Center.

Join us as we celebrate the annual migration of the monarch butterfly, a symbol of cultural and natural heritage! Live music from "Son Monarchas," crafts, guided walks, and a presentation on creating your own crucial habitat at home round out this free family friendly event.

Rain or shine, 10am-3pm Saturday August 23rd. Parking is free but somewhat limited, biking or public transit highly encouraged.
