Do Miracles Exist?

There are 2 main definitions for what a Miracle is:
1. “An extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs.”
2. “A Think & Drink event that is actually productive”

The nature of the event being “extraordinary” in itself makes it not repeatable, correct (or at least extremely difficult to repeat? There are simply events that are not repeatable, but we do not deny the existence of all events simply because they are not repeatable.

Miracles are written off as non-repeatable, however if you COULD repeat it, wouldn't that be what truly debunks the event as “miraculous”?

How do we attribute an extraordinary event to come from a “divine” source? Does it have to be an event that could not have been done otherwise, like an impossible feat? Does the difficulty of man-made repeatability have just as much weight as the rarity of the event?

Are miracles *observable*? If you do believe in miracles, how do you discern between a miraculous vs non-miraculous extraordinary event?

What are your thoughts? Come pull up a chair, get a drink & pastry with us and join us in a fun and thought-provoking existential meltdown! All views and beliefs welcome. The more diversity of opinions the better.
