It is highly recommended you arrive 1 hour early prior to departure time of 8:30 a.m. which is why I've indicated 7:30 a.m. start time for this event. Traffic through Newport and down Balboa Peninsula is expected to be extremely busy on weekends therefore please provide yourself ample time to park before your trip. When you arrive, proceed to the Daveys Locker office to pick up your tickets from WILL CALL.

IT WILL BE WINDY, CHILLY AND YOU MIGHT GET WET SO PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY. UNSAFE FOOTWEAR, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, HIGH HEELS, LEATHER SOLES, NOVELTY SKATE SHOES, PLATFORM SHOES, WEDGE STYLE SHOES, AND BARE FEET ARE NOT SAFE AND ARE PROHIBITED ON BOARD ANY VESSEL.

Parking
Parking is best found at at the Balboa Pier Municipal Parking Lot located at 1 Balboa Pier Newport Beach, CA. 92661. There is also a valet parking structure located at 309 Palm St. Newport Beach, CA 92661 (corner of Adams Street & E Bay Avenue). Please be prepared to pay for parking at both locations. Oversized vehicles should use Balboa Pier Parking. I've also found free parking on the street several blocks away if you don't mind the walk but make sure to pay attention to the signs.
