Japanese-English Language Exchange

• Practice conversational Japanese and English in a relaxed, friendly environment
• Meet native speakers and fellow language learners from both cultures
• Split time equally: half in Japanese, half in English
• All levels welcome - from complete beginners to advanced speakers
• Share cultural insights, travel stories, and local recommendations
• Bring questions about grammar, pronunciation, or everyday expressions
• Optional themed discussions each session (food, travel, current events, etc.)
• Make international friends and expand your language skills naturally
• Free event - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help others learn
• The library is really small and not many seating available hence limited members can join (Hoping to find bigger place soon)

Please note that usually most of participants who interested in Japanese are non-native speakers, covering basic understanding (N5/N4) levels and establishing conversation. So if your Japanese is already above this level, you may find it repetitive or too basic.

We currently do not have a native Japanese speaker host. Please get in touch with us if you would like to be a native Japanese speaker co-host or host.
