Leave your running shoes at home and join us for a visit to the Morgan Museum on Friday August 29! Besides its usual attractions of the beautiful interior and artworks, the Morgan also has a special exhibit called "Jane Austen: A Lively Mind," celebrating the 250th birthday of the beloved British author, who wrote "Pride and Prejudice," "Emma" and other classics. There will be a curator-led tour starting at 5:30pm. We will convene in the lobby PAST the ticketing point starting at 5:20pm and attend the tour together. Please note that although the tour is free, you must reserve a ticket to the museum that day through their website ($28.5 for entry before 5pm, free after 5pm).
After the tour and perusal of the museum, we'll go for a bite if people are interested. The Morgan has a charming restaurant. It is also located close to K-town.
Start the holiday weekend right with a visit to one of NYC's gems!
