Join the Fresh Pond Walking Community for our regular Sunday walk around Fresh Pond.

Let's join regular walkers from surrounding towns members of five other walking groups and 20 walkers for this walk. Walk is on, Rain or Shine.

Few things are more enjoyable than a nice walk and a chat at the end of a busy weekend.

Since May 2012, we've met with a few other meetup groups Let's join for a stroll in a beautiful setting. We walk clockwise, so if you get there late, just start walking counter-clockwise and you'll run into us.

Parking on Huron and Aberdeen Avenue is easy, since the "Permit Parking" rules don't apply on Sunday - just park in any spot on Huron Ave, there will be plenty of them.

If you're coming by bus, take the 71 or 73 bus from Harvard Square and get off at Aberdeen Ave. Walk all the way up Aberdeen until you come to Huron Avenue, we'll be there.

Dogs and children are welcome, not necessarily in that order. Dogs that are not licensed in Cambridge must be leashed.

## Let’s go back to Winding River campground in Exeter for some camping fun!!! There’s different options for camping… tent sites, RV sites, cabins. The tent and RV sites have electricity and water. The cabins have heat, AC, full bathroom/kitchen, wifi. Book directly from Winding River what type of camping option you want. Comment if you’re looking for someone to share a tent site or cabin with you.

The campground has heated swimming pool, hot tub, Friday night bingo, store with restaurant, River with boats to rent, bike trails and a lot more.

Note: if two women are looking for a shared cabin, I have space available for you at my cabin. Non smoker, no coffee. There’s a double queen bunk bed, with a ladder, in the living room. Cost is $203 each person for two nights plus we’ll figure out meals for shared food assignments. The first two to contact me get the space.

## Join the campers at Winding River Campground for the day!!! Get a $15 day pass at the main office. Rent a canoe or kayak for a few hours, hang out at the pool or near the River. Canoe rentals are $20 an hour and kayak rentals are $10 an hour-can rent the same day. There’s a grass area near the boat launch with picnic tables you can use for eating your lunch. Do not swim in the river-there’s snapping turtles.

There’s a lot to do at the campground…. Kayak/canoe rentals, swimming pool with water slide, hot tub, basketball court, horse shoes, general store, fishing area, gem mining sluice, the river, campfire. The campground also has an outdoor band at the covered pavilion for dancing Saturday night from 6:30-10. We’re going to have a bbq potluck dinner at 5:00. Will use the cabin bbq’s and picnic tables. Bring your camping chair and or folding table. For the potluck dinner, bring what you want to bbq and bring something to share-appetizers, salads, side dishes, dessert. BYOB-alcoholic or nonalcoholic. There’s a camp store on site and the campground is about 15 minutes from town if you want to buy something.

So bring your swimsuit, towel, fishing gear, your own lunch/day snacks/beverage, potluck dinner food, change of clothes for the dance, and positive thoughts for fantastic weather.
