What weβre about
Making friends as an adult is hard. Especially if you're in a new city or environment. The aim of this group is to meet new people, be social and perhaps even make friends!
There's too much loneliness in this world and not enough activities that promote making new friends as an adult.
I'd like to start off with maybe some drinks at one of the local pubs, once a month, maybe expanding to activities like Bouldering, walking groups, bowling, pub quiz activities and hopefully more! We do have a WhatsApp group where we will hopefully be planning some more spontaneous events outside of MeetUp. Please check the discussions section.
Sign up if you're interested! If you know someone, outside of meetup, who would benefit from these events, please feel free to share it with them! The more the Merrier! π These events are a safe space for all and whilst we understand new/big groups can be overwhelming or anxiety provoking, we hope you will give us a chance and join in π Feel free to drop Tom a message if you are feeling overly anxious or nervous π«
Disclaimer: This group/event has been paid for by Tom, there is no need for anyone to financially contribute towards any of these sessions or groups. However if you feel the need too, you're welcome to buy Tom a drink, he likes lemonade and on occasion a Rekorderlig/Koppaberg cider if he's drinking π
